"L'Atelier de JP se balade en rue" is the strictly street-photography version of L'Atelier de JP.

The street photo is a way of testifying to the here and now. It is a subjective vision of the places the photographer travels through, usually alone.

Street Photography has its tenors, its quirks, its techniques, a story that tells other stories, those of the anonymous people photographed during the photographer's visit.

These characters that the photographer captures are imbued with all the humanities: their own, that of the place, of the moment, that of the person who freezes them forever on a film or a digital sensor.

They are the summary of this "mood" of an era, necessarily partial because it is so human.

You will discover here the result of my wanderings. You will recognize places, familiar atmospheres, people - you perhaps - who were on the edge or in the frame.

Know that the photographer deeply respects the people captured, sometimes without their knowledge (but this is the salt of this type of photography). And if you feel that the photographer should remove the photo that bites you, a short note via the contact section with a few words of explanation about what is bothering you will allow him to consider the requested removal.

Finally, in the pictures you are about to discover, some of them have "off-beat" tints or colours. They are the result of old cameras, not always light-tight, of films sometimes outdated, of old lenses with precision, let's say, anecdotal, of experimental techniques, for the pleasure of discovery. The charm of these photographs is also due to these small defects.
